Thank you to the dA community for your comments, critiques, watches, views, everything! Especially since I haven't been actively updating for a while.

Well, let me re-address that for those of you who've been prodding me via messages:

It's my college application season. For the next few months, I'll be compiling my thoughts and works and submitting them to my dream schools. The culmination of over four years of artwork, in addition to trying to cram the most impactful moments of my life into 500-word essays, and rivers of pages of research work...comes down to these next few months.

Where am I applying to? I won't release the names until all decisions are in. Just in case admissions officers stumble here and well, read that my dream school is _________, but I'm applying to them anyway.

In addition, I'm refraining from posting up any new art created after January 1st, 2008. [Ohmygoshthatwasawholeyearago*#%&TGRB] Believe me, I've been quite prolific over this summer like I promised. Why not release them?-->

Earlier this year, someone decided to apply to an art camp with some of my works from this account. Long story short, the person got pwned when I could produce the original PSD files +Layers when they only had a .Jpeg file that had been altered to remove my signature. [Props to the person who caught them at the camp and realized that they weren't me! I feel like people can recognize my style ^^]

But this issue got me thinking:

I will be using some of the art uploaded here on my dA for the art portfolio that I'm sending off with my college application supplements. I will most likely be asked to verify that I am the original artist since my work's been floating around Google, etc. [Also because I'm a digital artist, it's not like I can take pictures of a canvas or something].

So I will be including works that have not been released online in the portfolio as well. Screencaptures of them were uploaded to my Facebook...but that's the most light they've seen on the internet since they're been in the concept-creation process. Hopefully, this will deter anyone who's applying to college with my stolen artwork [pfft, I doubt anyone would because they could pick from much better and experienced artists and their respective works, but then again, the art camp incident was....pretty fail.]

Expect them to show up late next year. [I'm not kidding. But they WILL be available to the public!:<]

Addressing the recent spike in art theft:

I've made it my policy to NEVER post commissions online. This decision was made last year [another FAQ I've been messaged about]--I feel that whatever I'm asked to draw/CG/Lineart for you should be special. It will NEVER be posted anywhere online, and NEVER offered to another party. What I complete is unique. The ONLY time they will EVER be released publicly is by request or used for my portfolios [like advertising for commissions at conventions, tutorial workshops, demo's, etc].

I'm flattered that people are using my art for forum banners, LJ/Xanga/Wordpress layouts...but please remember to leave my signature/credit somewhere on the page. As long as you are not actively promoting as your own creation [Which DID happen a few times, with quite a mess of drama ._.';;] and selling it commercially.

I WILL be capping commissions, with exceptions

I've been unfortunately rejecting major commissions lately. My senior schedule is much tougher than I originally thought, in addition to some family issues, and research-related competitions. I'm still open to sketch/lineart/cell CG commissions, but will [most likely] be unable to complete realism and ani-realism type commissions.

If your commission is very time intensive, but there is a special circumstance regarding your particular request, I'm willing to take a look at it. Just ask me politely and I'll see what I can do.
